Our staff has extensive experience of working in both hospitals and private clinic settings. Our aim is to increase the accessibility of diagnostic imaging and image-guided treatments for all patients in the region.
Our area of expertise is in providing pain-relief for a multitude of conditions, working in conjunction with local referring GPs and Specialists. Most CT-guided procedures are provided as a bulk-billed service. We offer bulk-billed services to concession card-holders. In all instances we aim to offer the lowest out-of-pocket expense to our loyal patients.
A graduate from the University of London, Matt completed his Radiology training in London, to include working at the Royal Marsden, Great Ormond Street and Atkinson Morley hospitals. Matt has over 20 years of performing Interventional procedures, with a special interest in providing treatments for chronic pain issues. He completed a breast imaging fellowship in Australia and works for Breast Screen WA.
Previously acting as head of department at Fiona Stanley Hospital, he has spent much of the last 10 years working in the South West, before choosing to work in the area permanently. Vasse Radiology is therefore able to provide rapid access to image-guided pain treatments, expert advice on breast imaging as well as all the usual diagnostic imaging services
Graduating from Leeds University in 1997, Richard has held positions at several NHS trusts in the UK, before gaining further experience working in Melbourne, ultimately settling in the South West of WA in 2004.
Richard, has held positions including as a tutor sonographer at Imaging of the South/Global diagnostics. He has been Chief Sonographer at West Coast Radiology and a senior sonographer at Capital Radiology and SKG. Richard has more than 2 decades of experience in all aspects of medical ultrasound, however he has a particular interest in Musculoskeletal and Vascular sonography.
Well-respected by his colleagues, he is also a quiz-expert, and is willing to show his Hard Quiz trophy when asked by patients!
After graduating from Curtin University in 1988, Bruce started his career at Princess Margaret Hospital where he was rapidly promoted to Senior Radiographer, working in CT and Special Procedures. Working with children has made the need for radiation dose reduction a priority for Bruce.
In 1998, Bruce took a position working for the WA Country Health Service at the Busselton Hospital allowing him to return to the Southwest. He worked here for 15 years performing CT and general radiography both in hours and on a 24-hour call roster.
An opportunity to work in a start-up private radiology clinic (West Coast Radiology) in 2013 has seen Bruce hone his skills, especially in CT guided interventional procedures.
With more than 35 years of Medical Imaging experience, Bruce is highly skilled and knowledgeable in radiation imaging practices.
